Once I had batteries in, took me 30 seconds to install and it's been working flawlessly for 2.5 months. PRO TIP: there's a USB port on the back if you'd rather hardwire it — just realized that on day 30. Just stock up on AAs first or have a USB cable ready.

Took it off, cleaned the glass with rubbing alcohol, added a small piece of 3M VHB tape underneath and it has not budged in 7 weeks since. Lamp itself works perfectly even when the inside of the car is 110°F. Knocking off a star for the OEM adhesive only.
